The “K-Lab”, a polymer laboratory of the University of Paderborn, creates an application-oriented interface between industry and science.

In the future, employees of the K-Lab as well as the Messe Ostwestfalen GmbH will organize a day dedicated to polymer technology. With regards to content, the university is in charge: suppliers of polymer machines, tools, accessories, and other services meet operators of the polymer processing industry. Industry partners are to contribute speeches. This technology day, planned as a workshop, will take place for the first time in Bad Salzuflen during spring 2011.

This event closes the gap to the next plastics exhibition which will take place under the name of “KFO” – Polymer Forum East Westphalia – in Bad Salzuflen, March 2012, which is being held every three years.
